WeiRC has further improved its popular steel chassis in 2026. The material is now even more durable, and all chassis have been given a black DLC coating. The screws remain the same – so they can also be used with the previous chassis!

WeiRC’s high-quality, DLC-coated steel chassis is the tuning alternative for your Awesomatix 800RR. The 1.2 mm-thick chassis is heavier than a carbon fibre or aluminium chassis and significantly lowers the car’s centre of gravity. The advantage of using a steel chassis is often better handling and a car that’s ‘easier to drive’.
