The new 521 Competizione is based on our latest 5-port competition technology and features important technical updates developed to improve tuning stability, fuel efficiency, and overall drivability while maintaining the performance expected from a true racing engine.

Available in Two Versions

The new 521 Competizione is available in two different configurations to suit every driver’s needs:

• 521 CompetizioneStandard version featuring steel crankshaft and steel rear bearing for maximum durability and excellent value.
• 521 Competizione PlusPremium version featuring steel crankshaft, high-performance ceramic rear bearing, and DLC-coated backplate for reduced friction, improved smoothness, and enhanced performance consistency.

• New 5-Port Competition TechnologyThe updated 5-port sleeve configuration, combined with improved piston and sleeve materials, provides excellent fuel mileage, smooth power delivery, and strong overall performance across all track conditions.
• 3-Needle Aluminum CarburetorThe 521 Competizione includes the same high-quality aluminum carburetor used on REDS 721 series engines, designed to guarantee maximum reliability and tuning consistency.The GEN2 carburetor also features:

• High-Stiffness Die-Cast CrankcaseThe crankcase is produced using a state-of-the-art high-pressure die-casting process and a special aluminum alloy developed by REDS Racing engineers to ensure maximum rigidity and durability.
